MATT SCHULER (1988-2024)

Matt Schuler was a multidisciplinary artist specialising in science fiction paintings. His main medium was spray paint. His work has been featured in a variety of science fiction magazines, including Space & Time Magazine, Antipodean SF, and New Myths Magazine. Matt’s favourite author and inspiration was H.P. Lovecraft.

Matt was also an avid gamer and loved nothing more than to yell at idiots while playing Escape From Tarkov and Warframe, much to the amusement of his wife, the speculative fiction author Claire Fitzpatrick. With Claire, Matt developed two issues of The Asylum Diaries, a miscellaneous fiction magazine inspired by H.P. Lovecraft.
